I am a UC San Diego graduate student or a postdoc from an institute other than UC San Diego. Can I apply for an EIP visit?

Unfortunately, at this point we can accept only current UC San Diego Postdoctoral scholars into our program.

I am a UC San Diego postdoc who has previously attended an EIP visit. Can I attend again?

Although we favor new applicants during the selection process, we do not limit the number of visits of EIP alumni! Note that you have to apply for each specific visit, once the announcement has been made.

I have been selected to attend an EIP visit. How do I arrive to the company site?

We arrange a carpool spreadsheet that you will be able to sign up for as a driver or passenger for each individual visit a few days in advance.

I am a UC San Diego postdoc and would like to get involved with the EIP Team. How can I help?

We always appreciate new board members in the EIP team. You are welcome to email us at eip.ucsd@gmail.com at any time. Also, you are welcome to share any contacts from industry you are comfortable with, as we always look for the new opportunities to arrange visits with the local biotech, pharma and high-tech companies.

I am a graduate student or a postdoc at another institute and would like to develop a program like yours. Can you help?

We have dedicated members of the team that would be available to meet in person or schedule a phone conversation to give you some pointers on how to get started.
